Bang Bao Beach Koh Chang
Bang Bao Beach is a well-preserved bay with a small and calm beach at the southwest end of Koh Chang. This beach is surrounded by a fishing community where local residents still live in houses built on stilts and connected by wooden bridges stretching out into the sea. The beach on Bang Bao Bay features transparent water with rocks. It is somewhat shallow and plenty of gold-color corals off the shores. At the bottom line, Bang Bao Beach is a good location for swimming, snorkeling and, of course, fishing. It is usual around this beach area to see a good and growing number of tourist shops, scuba diving outlets, and seafood restaurants that offer a good range of fresh seafood in the menu. Plus, new and nice bungalows have sprouted amidst the grove of coconut trees and around Bang Bao Bay. There are small shops selling souvenirs and refreshments to make this appealing place alive.
