Kai Bae Beach Koh Chang
Kai Bae Beach, the last major beach on the west coast, is one of incredibly stunning bays that give the impression of having your own private section of white sandy beach. This beach is a great viewing point for the spectacular sunset. Some small islands are prevailing and so close that you can reach by sea kayak. Beyond that, there is an untainted beach with numerous palm trees providing plenty of shade. Several nearby islands are so close that you are tempted to wade through the water to reach them. The islands dotted around in front of the beach enhance that sunset and during low tide it is possible for you to walk to Koh Man Nai from the South end of the beach. A little further out, Koh Yuak has a small beach front and clear shallow water which is a good snorkeling spot. Here there is also a slight downward slope into the sea which is favorable for swimming but you have to be careful of the depth if you are not strong in swimming. Swimming to a far distance is not recommended. At Kai Bae Village, you can find a few local grocery shops, supermarkets, restaurants and Internet caf?. All dive shops provide rental services for boats, canoes, sea kayaks and diving gears to explore new adventure islands. Dive trips are also available here.
